Most Commander decks have enough targeted removal to destroy your creature once or twice, but locking the Greaves on it basically ensures theyll have to two-for-one you (perhaps Shattering the Greaves then destroying your creature) or board wipe
Unstoppable Plan One of the struggles of playing decks that include blue is that you want to be able to advance your gameplan on your turn while also being able to keep things untapped in order to play at instant speed as needed during your opponents turns
though of course theres generally nothing stopping you from using these cards in your deck, you wouldnt expect to see cards from these boosters in the wild, as theyre generally just variants of existing cards that are much cheaper to acquire, and intended for repeated handling
